Middle Schoolers is a virtual improv show about a group of middle school aged children who know each other from school.
They are neither adults, nor children. They live in the in-between stage of development where self control isn’t always possible and autonomy still needs to be earned, but sometimes is given too freely. It’s a world of losing and finding oneself, feeling intense, honest emotions, and acting on rumors and lies.
It’s where loyalties are tested.
It can also be a time where there are triumphs – you got placed in first position in band or someone you’ve wanted to connect with wants to connect with you, where your parents decide to no longer get a divorce – where life can contain so much joy that it doesn’t seem possible it can get any better.
