The Hideout needs your help.

After nearly 26 years in the heart of downtown Austin, our building was sold, and we were forced to vacate.

Good news — We still exist!

Our classes and shows continue, centered around our annex space at 2222 and North Lamar.

Bad news — We need money to find and build a new home.

Did you know?

The Hideout has never charged ticketing fees or added sales tax to ticket prices. Most venue websites add fees and taxes at checkout, adding 20 or 30% to the final price. We’ve never liked that, and so we’ve simply never done it.
