This is the second in a series of blog posts about each this weekend’s marathoners. Don’t know what the marathon is? Find out here!
Quinn Buckner is a rad dude who has been improvising since 2009 and is hooked forever. He has performed improv all over town from Coldtowne to the very own Hideout, the country from Hawaii to New York, and soon to be the world with trips planned for London and Tokyo in the fall.
All of the places he’s been and friends along the way wouldn’t of been possible if he hadn’t taken that first improv class way back when. That’s why and he wants to raise a money to give kids and those with special needs an opportunity to have awesome experiences and make some new friends where they may not of otherwise.

Why did you want to be involved in the marathon?
I keep hearing about this “level up that happens from doing all that improv in such a condensed time. I’m pretty interested in what that will look like as well as what I’m gonna be like as a person come hour 46
What excites you most about doing the marathon?
Doing this much improv all at once, and which such great people in the cast.
What scares you most about doing the marathon?
Not knowing how my body and psyche will react to staying up that long!
Which format are you most excited about?
Golden because I love that silent film style and Dubbed Indemnity because who doesn’t like being a wiseass.
What’s the longest you’ve ever stayed awake?
I’d have to guess at right around 24 hours via an all-nighter or two in college.
What’s your dumb comfort item you’ll be bringing with you?
A stuffed crab named ‘crabbers’
What’s your pump up song?
Gah so many, right now I’d have to say ‘Holding On To You’ – Twenty One Pilots
Question: will additional stuffed crabs be available for purchase? I am very interested in taking home my own crabbers.
I, too, am interested in stuffed crabs. I’ll name my Qrabb in honor of Quinn.
