New Game+: Advanced Improv Fundamentals (8-week series)

In RPGs, New Game+ is when you start the story over after beating it, but this time you get to keep all the skills, gear, and hard-won knowledge you earned on the first run. You may be headed back into the same dungeon, but you are no longer wandering around with a wooden stick, three hit points, and no clue what any of the buttons do.
That’s the vibe of this class. We’re going back to some of the classic games and ideas from Levels One through Three, but with more experience, more confidence, and a room full of people who already know how to listen, support, and build something together.
Expect old games, new complications, a little deliberate rule-breaking, and lots of chances to sharpen trust, connection, commitment, presence, stakes, and delight.
This class is open to graduates of Level Six, or improvisers with equivalent experience.

Bio:
After jumping into classes in 2011, Caeriel Crestin (they/them) fell in love with improv and the Hideout and just refused to leave! These days, Caeriel wears many hats at the Hideout. In addition to being an instructor, they are also the Classes Registrar and Director of the Incubator Program. They have directed many shows, including: The Game Show Show, What They Do in the Darkness, 183 Dewberry Lane, and Soundstage 23.
Caeriel is interested in growing our diverse community, creating a warm, engaging scene for people from all walks of life, and helping people find greater joy and fun in their lives through improv. Besides improv, Caeriel also loves dogs, sci-fi, D&D, and board games.
