Directing Improv Workshop
This 3-week course will focus on performative directing and give students hands-on experience on directing during shows, including side-coaching, scene-setting, and course correction, with a focus on delighting your players and the audience. While we will be focusing on directing Narrative improv, almost everything here is applicable to directing scenes in general. This is a unique skill, and acquiring it will teach you to adopt a big-picture view of the scene-work in general that is also applicable to great effect in your own performing work. Classes will run once a week for 2 hour for three weeks (skipping May 18), limit 14 students.
