Saturday Afternoon Workshop (2.5hrs)
Dare to Direct!

In this two and half hour workshop, we’ll be discussing philosophies and strategies of directing narrative improv, practicing directing scenes, and end with a Q&A. If you’ve always wanted to direct, haven’t directed in a while, or are curious about how I run rehearsals, this workshop is for you!
This class is intended for intermediate/advanced improvisers (18 & older) with some prior improv experience (Hideout Level 3 or above)
2-4:30pm on Saturday, August 9 (pay what you can $29/$39/$50)
Bio:
Jess Leal von Schramm is a B. Iden Payne Award winning Director who has directed 12 shows at the Hideout Theatre – five mainstages, four incubators, one stargazer, and two kids shows. She’s Assistant Directed three shows and stage managed two others. When she’s not at the Hideout, she’s probably doing stand up, writing screenplays, or being outsmarted by her three dogs.
