Acting for Improvisation (3-week series)
with Kareem Badr

As Dave Razowsky likes to say, “We are actors who improvise.” So let’s dig in and work on the acting part.

In this three week workshop, you’ll learn how to bring a deeper level of commitment and emotional vulnerability to your improv scenes. We’ll make space for dramatic moments to bloom, which will make the comedic moments hit that much harder. The work we do will build trust in your scene partners as well as yourself, and help you approach improv from a place of ease.

This class has limited availability and will likely not be offered again for some time. If you’re looking to level-up, this is your chance! Pre-requisites: Hideout level 4 or equivalent experience. Scene-work will utilize side-coaching and active direction from the instructor.

7-9:30pm on Thursdays Oct 15 – Oct 29 (three weeks)
Pay what you can $115/$125/$135
at Hideout Annex (5555 N Lamar Blvd B103)
