Caitlin Sweetlamb first came to Austin from her native New York City in 2001, her freshman year of college at UT. She found her way into the developing improv scene and has belonged to the community as a member of various troupes and main stage shows for the last 15 years. Caitlin first played with Girls Girls Girls, Austin’s original all-female musical improv troupe, starting in 2005, then rejoined in 2012 after a stint in NYC. She is grateful to the Austin improv community for many things including enriching her sense of humor, providing perspective, and leading her to her husband, fellow Marathoner, Jeremy Sweetlamb! By day, she teaches English and coaches student improvisers at St. Stephen’s Episcopal High School in Westlake. As an educator and mother, she believes that raising money to send kids and teens to improv classes is such a worthy and meaningful cause. The world will be a more mindful, generous, compassionate, and fun place with more young improvisers in it!
