Kristen Drenning – Austin Improv Comedy Shows, Classes

Kristen Drenning (she/her) is an improviser and storyteller based in Austin, Texas. She has trained locally at The Hideout, Merlin Works, ColdTowne, and Fallout Theater, and completed advanced study programs at the Upright Citizens Brigade, The Groundlings, and Second City Conservatory. Kristen was voted Most Valuable Performer at ColdTowne’s 2024 ColdTony Awards and has earned additional honors for Grounded Character (2023), Absurd Character (2024), Most Supportive Player (2024), and Rookie of the Year (2023). You can often catch her performing with her troupes Hot Mom Highway, Tortoise in a Pram, and After Hours. She has also appeared in numerous ensemble shows, including Blvd. Q, Murder, They Improvised, Into the Metaverse, and The Emma Dilemma.
