The Hideout Theatre is excited to present the BIPOC Improv Celebration: a full month of BIPOC-led improv shows presented the entire month of November 2024!
Join us at The Hideout Theatre for a full month of laughs, creativity and community talent, featuring BIPOC led shows aimed at highlighting our BIPOC community’s vast breadth of talent and connection.
Every weekend in November, we’ll bring the stage to life with hilarious performances, surprise guests, and dynamic workshops that celebrate and uplift the voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. It’s a month of celebrating cultural diversity and talent, all while spreading joy through improv!
In our work to constantly build a safer space for BIPOC performers and encourage true collaboration both on the stage and within Austin’s performance community we wanted to do more than just put on some shows. So be sure to stick around for a photo booth night, a time to rock the mic in some Karaoke and some special workshops and Q&A sessions w/ talented and experienced improvisers from around the country!
