Big Day All Alone

A musical about celebrating big things in the time of quarantine

A musical about celebrating big things in the time of quarantine

It’s A Big Day! Something HUGE is about to happen! A big, LIFE CHANGING event!

The catch? You’re alone. Because it’s right now. During a pandemic. In quarantine.
Presenting the Hideout’s FIRST online musical: A Big Day All Alone, directed by Mallory Schlossberg.
It’s a musical, because the characters feel BIG things in their tiny Zoom boxes. They imagine that their life to be bigger and greater than it is right now.
The cast is comprised of improvisers and musicians from from ALL OVER North America including: New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, Miami and Canada.
“We’re all feeling a lot right now,” says director Mallory Schlossberg, “but we’ve been confined to these small boxes on Zoom and amplified emotions translate into feeling so much that we’ve got to sing! There’s a lot of humor that exists in this new way of communicating. My biggest hope is that this show brings some joy and levity to folks in this really strange, difficult time.”
