Reform School for Wayward Girls
A Brand New Improvised Show Set in a 1970s All-Girls Reform School
Directed by Kaci Beeler
Some of Austin’s best female improvisors are underage and under lock and key in this fun, sexy, and smart new improvised show set in a 1970s all-girls reform school.
Do BAD GIRLS really have more fun? Of course they do!
Come witness the most delinquent girls in the history of socially-conscious theatre reveal their secrets and sins with riveting consequences.
Rich and poor, deceptive and honest, sweet and sour – these ladies come from all walks of life to join the inauspicious ranks of St. Agatha’s Reform School for Wayward Girls in East Libertyville, Ohio.
St. Agatha’s is an institution dedicated to putting young women on the straight and narrow path before they end up in prison or worse, their graves!
And of course, no 1970s reformatory school would be complete without its stern headmasters, ineffectual teachers, lecherous lunch ladies, and local bad boy heart-throbs waiting cooly outside St. Agatha’s pristine gates.
SEE the fist-fights, hair-pulls, and life-like shanks!
REFLECT on the dramatic futures in store for these young women!
THINK about the hilarity of watching this be completely improvised live on stage!
THIS is the improv show they said COULDN’T BE MADE.
Reform School for Wayward Girls – Saturdays at 8pm, September 6th – November 1st at The Hideout Theatre
