And the cost is pay what you wish (with 3 different price options). Register by picking your session/date at the top of the page and you’ll get a Zoom invitation to the class via email (if for some reason you don’t get an email confirmation immediately, email registrar@hideouttheatre.com for the details). Sunday, June 26, 2-4pm | Between Beats | Intermediate | Shannon Stott | Explore the moments between dialogue in this workshop. We’ll focus on treating the unsaid on stage with as much gravity as we treat what is said. Together, we’ll learn the importance of silence in your scenes, learning to lean into it rather than filling it. Discover how silence adds depth to your characters, weight to your storytelling, and builds trust between you and your audience. |

Tech for Online Musical Improv
Sunday, March 14, 2-4pm CST
w/ Kenzie Slottow
Learn how to run online musical improv classes or jams with live improvising musicians, using Zoom and Audiomovers. We’ve gotten creative with the limitations of live remote musical collaboration. Just because you can’t have people singing harmonies in exact rhythmic unison, doesn’t mean you can’t have epic solos, duets and group numbers. You’ll get a chance to try out the setup and sing to Bryson Kemp’s brilliant piano-playing from wherever you are, too!
All classes are held in the Zoom app, so download and test it before your class.
