The award-winning improvisers at the Hideout Theatre will construct an enchanting, hilarious, and completely improvised play set in Victorian England as seen through the eyes of master writer and storyteller Charles Dickens.
We all know Scrooge, but it turns out the ghosts of Christmas were busy working on multiple people that night! Watch as they redeem a never-before-seen grasping, clutching, wretched old sinner in the past, present, and future.
Bah Humbug! is filled with larger-than-life characters all created on the spot from your suggestions: slimy criminals, wide-eyed orphans, saucy boot-blackers, the pompous rich, and the most benevolent little British do-gooders you ever did see. Will good triumph over evil? Can the spirit of Christmas be found in even the darkest moments? Will Mister Bill Barrows eat all the figgy pudding again? Can we create a child character so sickly and tiny that you’ll feel like Tiny Tim was doing pretty okay in comparison?
