Jeremy first fell in love with improv watching British Whose Line as a suburban tween in North Austin. Later, as a teen, he rediscovered it with a trip to Northcross Mall to see ComedySportz. As an older teen, he became obsessed with improv, making weekly trips into downtown to soak up the blue barprov shortform stylings of Monks Night Out. He formed well hung jury, later Available Cupholders, founded the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, lived and studied improv in Chicago, NYC, and LA before settling back in Austin to teach middle school theatre. Scholarships for young improv learners are extremely important to him. Not just so that access to the artform is increased for those without the means, but because improv has been such an integral part of his continuing journey to become an accepting adult, practicing yesand every day in professional, social, and family life.
